# SpeakDuo Community Rules

### Strict Enforcement

Failure to follow these rules may result in immediate removal or permanent suspension.

### 1. Conduct & Behavior (Zero Tolerance)

* **Be Respectful at All Times**\
  Use polite, professional language. No insults, harassment, mocking, or hostile behavior.
* **No Sensitive or Controversial Topics**\
  Do **not** discuss politics, religion, social conflicts, or any topic that may offend or pressure another member.
* **No Multitasking (Strict)**\
  You must give your **full attention** to the conversation at all times.\
  **The following are strictly prohibited during chats:**
  * Driving or being inside a moving vehicle
  * Eating food of any kind
  * Cooking or handling food
  * Drinking alcoholic beverages
  * Smoking or vaping (including e-cigarettes or devices)
  * Using a phone, typing, or switching apps
  * Doing chores, working, or any unrelated activity
* **No Interruptions**\
  Let others finish speaking. Do not talk over or dominate the conversation.
* **Stay Completely Sober**\
  You must not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any impairing substance.
* **Privacy Is Mandatory**\
  Do **not** ask for or share phone numbers, social media accounts, exact location, job details, or any off-platform contact information.
* **Solo Participation Only**\
  Only one person may be present. No additional people visible or audible in the background.
* **No Harassment or Abuse**\
  Hate speech, threats, intimidation, or aggressive behavior will result in immediate removal.
* **No Sexual Content**\
  Sexual comments, gestures, noises, or suggestive behavior are strictly forbidden.

### 2. Camera & Presence Requirements (Mandatory)

* **Camera Must Remain On at All Times**
* **Full Face Clearly Visible**
  * Look **directly at the camera**, not off to the side
  * Do **not** show only part of your face
  * No lying down, slouching, or extreme angles
* **No Face Obstructions**\
  Masks, sunglasses, hoods, or anything covering the face are not allowed.
* **Proper Lighting Required**\
  Your face must be clearly visible at all times.
* **Stable, Stationary Camera**\
  No walking, shaking, or repositioning during the conversation.

### 3. Eligibility & Communication

* **Minimum Age: 18+**
* **English Proficiency Required**\
  You must be able to communicate clearly and comfortably in English.

### 4. Technical & Environment Standards

* **Reliable Internet Connection Required**
* **Headphones Required**
* **Quiet, Private Environment Only**\
  No public places, loud music, TV, or disruptive background noise.
* **Appropriate Attire Required**\
  Dress as you would for a professional in-person meeting.

### 5. Account Rules

* **One Account Per Person Only**
* **Accurate, Truthful Profile Information Required**
* **Respectful Profile Photo, Name, and Bio**

### 6. Platform Use & Reporting

* **Honest, Genuine Participation Required**
* **Responsible Reporting Only**\
  False or abusive reports may result in penalties.

#### Enforcement Notice

SpeakDuo reserves the right to **remove or permanently ban** users who violate these rules, with or without prior warning.

By participating, you agree to comply fully with all guidelines to maintain a **focused, respectful, and safe community**.
